The Shenzhen Institute of Financial Technology Tower, is a 46-story building located on a narrow site in Futian District, with a height of 199 meters. The design maximizes sunlight penetration to surrounding streets and public areas through precise setbacks, while the varying transparency and color of the façade are expressed through vertical and angled glass mullions in black and bronze. The building’s envelope features high-performance thermal insulation and self-shading external fins to minimize solar heat gain, enhancing energy efficiency.
The tower will house the institute’s research laboratories, data centers, training campus, and administrative departments. The interior design prioritizes interaction and comfort, with multiple atria and green elements improving air quality. A rooftop garden provides additional space for events, enhancing the building‘s functionality and sustainability.

ZHA is selected to design cultural buildings within Hangzhou‘s Qiantang Bay Cultural District, transforming industrial land along the Zhedong Canal into parks and civic spaces. The design features a green corridor with landscaped terraces, bridges, and plazas, reconnecting neighborhoods to the water.
The library proposal is a symbolic anchor, with inhabitable columns acting as both structural elements and knowledge containers. The design references Hangzhou’s jade craftsmanship, using masonry tiles and folded glass to integrate natural light.

Informed by the organic forms of geological canyons, the architecture creates a place of convergence and collaboration, embodying Shenzhen's spirit as a global hub for innovation and discovery. The central 'canyon' atrium, with its terraces and layered façades, blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior, promoting interaction and connectivity

We are incredibly honored to have collaborated with Zaha Hadid Architects on this landmark project. We conceptualized the key visualizations for ZHA, focusing intensely on the canyon concept. Through a "landscape photographer's lens", the building's façade is portrayed with a raw, powerful grandeur, highlighting the striking dialogue between nature and the built environment.
