Seer here with a Jimmy appreciation post! We will be releasing our second album, ‘Yule to Litha’ in less than a week, and i wanted to make a post highlighting Jimmy, the witch behind the veil-
askSERPENT was borne when James conjured up a (now lost) project where they took my first attempts at recording noise and collaged their own textural synth noise and vocals into it. we immediately turned to bibliomancy, two words struck out like a copperhead, we had our answer.
Since then James has tracked, mixed and arranged HOURS of our noise, meticulously layering and EQing & more far beyond my own comprehension. i owe so much to them, they pour so much of themselves into our work & it’s a constant inspiration to be in their presence. I can not wait for y’all to hear what they’ve been doing.
