On St. Patrick’s Day, may your troubles be less, and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door!

Did you know that today is the 256th anniversary of the Boston Massacre?
This morning at the @jfkhyannis , Gregory Williams provided a fascinating look at the event which led to the deaths of 5 colonists at the hands of the British.
The incident, which took place at the Old State House, was heavily used as anti-British propaganda and is cited as a catalyst for the Revolutionary War.
Nothing like the @cape_symphony ’s Holiday On The Cape concert to put you in the spirit of the season!

As the holiday shopping season kicks off in full swing, we encourage you to shop local and support local artists. We did that last week at the annual Art in the Garden Room at @bucatinofalmouth .
Organized by Kimberly Sheerin of @the_barn_pottery_of_pocasset , artists included @capeglass@muskielounge@reflectionsbyrobin , Wicked Whale Boards, Cape Beadworks, Nautical Designs, Standish Wood Birdhouses, @caspia_cove , and more!
Many of these artists will be participating in upcoming holiday craft shows and open houses over the coming weeks.
The Cape has a long, storied history when it comes to glassblowing.
Yesterday, we got a chance to see the artistry of the current crop of local glassblowers at the opening of the @sandwichglass Museum’s Glassblowers Christmas.
It was a festive way to kick off the holidays as trees filled the museum. Each tree is decorated with glass ornaments (available for purchase) made by some of the top glassblowers in the region.
If you missed it, don’t worry! You can stop by now through Christmas, and support local artists by purchasing handmade pieces that make for the perfect gift for a loved one!
Creativity (and community) was on full display on Main Street in Hyannis, as families hit downtown for a festive night of trick-or-treating! So many great costumes!!
It’s a Halloween tradition at Arts Cape Cod to catch at least one (hopefully more) of Gregory Williams’s talks in October.
This week, we kept that tradition going when we attended Greg’s presentation on author Mary Shelley and her 1818 novel “Frankenstein” at @sturgislibrary . It was a festively fun journey exploring Mary, her life, and the fantastical monster she created that has endured more than two centuries later on stage, in movies, and in popular culture.
If you’re interested in topics like this, visit Greg’s website for his upcoming talks at /
Last night’s @cape.codbookfestival talk at @smhsblueknights , featuring author @mitchalbom was entertaining and inspiring.
Mitch reminded us that redemption is always possible, and life’s greatest rewards are found in love, connection, and helping others.
The festival continues today with two talks (followed by book signings) at the @cotuitcenterforthearts .

Last month, we had the opportunity to hear the incredibly talented @rsquared234 speak as part of a talk hosted by @titcombsbookshop in Sandwich.
The Pulitzer Prize winning author (“Empire Falls”), who has penned several books that have been adapted into movies and TV shows (“Nobody’s Fool”), Russo was in town to promote his latest book, “Life And Art,” a series of essays he wrote during the pandemic.
This month, Titcomb’s has several talks and book signings, including one next Monday with author Casey Sherman at Tales of Cape Cod, another on Wednesday with Christopher Shaw Myers in Sandwich, and one on the 16th with David Sedaris at Barnstable High School.
