Celebrate the vibrant spirit of spring with your Cape Symphony Orchestra. This program will awaken the senses and conjure the season of renewal in all its shades of beauty. Lili Boulanger’s "D’un matin de printemps" shimmers with youthful energy and the brightness of a new day, setting the stage for Debussy’s languorous, dreamy "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun," a masterpiece of impressionistic color and sensuality. After intermission, Mahler’s monumental "Symphony No. 5" unfolds—a journey from darkness and grief to hope and triumph, culminating in the radiant beauty of its famous Adagietto. Let the power and poetry of these works transport you in this brilliant Masterpiece series finale. Music Director @alyssawang1895 will conduct!
Ticketholders are invited to our "Musically Speaking" talk about the concert program. The talk begins one hour before the concert and will be led by Assistant Conductor Joe Marchio.

Known for his warmth, humor, and insight as a speaker and conductor, Joe now steps into the spotlight as a performer, bringing the organ to life in an unforgettable concert. The program will feature iconic organ masterworks including J.S. Bach’s thrilling “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” and Charles Ives’ playful “Variations on America.” Joe will also be joined by special guest Sarah Marchio on bagpipes for the stirring audience favorite, “Highland Cathedral,” along with one additional selection to be announced.

Yeison Landero is BACK! 💥🪘 Get ready to dance as the electrifying rhythms of Colombian cumbia come alive in this incredible Secret Planet Cape Cod show. A rare chance to experience the living legacy of cumbia, Landero brings the soul of his grandfather—legendary “King of Cumbia” Andrés Landero—to life with powerful accordion melodies, infectious grooves, and undeniable stage presence.
