‘Alvar Wave and the Ripple Effect’, an exhibition by Daniel Eatock created for @l_d_f_official 2025. The exhibition was inspired by Alvar Aalto, whose name means wave in Finnish, and how he unwittingly conceived a form that gave birth to modern vert skateboarding. A line drawn for one use finds another through the ripple of chance, becoming more than its purpose and more than its maker. Achieving the infinite through a physical confine.
