미디어아트 스튜디오 아쏘드의 대표 작가 김찬기와 황유선 작가의 협업으로 진행된 인피니티 북은 인피니티 미러와 LED 조명이 결합된 설치 작품으로, 책을 펼치는 순간 우주로 빨려 들어가는 듯한 몰입감을 제공합니다.
거울에 반사된 자신의 모습과 끝없이 확장되는 빛의 심연은 관람객을 현실 너머의 상상 공간으로 인도하며, 변화하는 LED 색채는 공간의 분위기를 다채롭게 전환합니다. 이 설치는 '읽기' 행위를 감각적 은유로 재해석하여,
책이 열어주는 무한한 우주의 중심에서 새로운 서사의 주체가 될 기회를 제시합니다.
"Infinity Book” is an immersive installation that combines infinity mirrors and LED lighting to evoke the sensation of being drawn into the
cosmos the moment a book is opened. The reflected self and the endlessly expanding light space offer a sensory reinterpretation of 'reading,
suggesting the infinite narrative possibilities that books can unfold.
Kim Chan ki and Hwang Yu-seon reinterpret everyday life through digital media, exploring the boundary between humans and technology via interactive media and light-based installations.
They are part of the media art studio Arthod and have been recognized by the Multi-Arts.

전시 시간 : 13:00 - 19:00 텔레비전 수상기가 보급되고, 예술의 영역에서 신호 처리 과정을 시각화하는 작업의 기원은 꽤나 오래전으로 거슬러 올라간다. 처리 과정에서 나타나는 피드백 루프로 인해 고정되지 않고 끊임없이 변형돠는 이미지는 기존 고정된 매체와는 다른 특성을 보여준다는 점에서 의미를 가졌다. OS-1은 이러한 시도의 맥락, 그 연장선에 있는 프로젝트다. 작품은 지구와 우주 그리고 우주 공간에서의 상호 통신 프로토콜을 시각화한다. 과거의 인류는 호수에 맺힌 달과 별을 통해 지구 너머의 세계를 상상했다. 인공위성은 별을 올려다보던인간의 시각을 전치시키고 우주의 관점과 높이에서 우리를 조망할 수 있는 시각을 제공했다. 인간의 상상은 지각에서 비롯되기에 비단 확장된 것이 시각만은 아닐 것이다. 이러한 이유로 인공위성이 지구에 보내는 신호에는 인류의 꿈이 투영되어 있다고 보았다. 아쏘드는 OS-1에서 이러한 기술적, 예술적 맥락의 결합을 시도하였다.

Exhibition time: 13:00 - 19:00 The origin of visualizing signal processing in the realm of art goes back quite a long time with the spread of television receivers. Images that are not fixed and constantly transformed due to feedback loops that appear in the process are meaningful in that they show different characteristics from existing fixed media. It was considered that the signal sent by the satellite to Earth was projected with the dream of mankind. Assod attempted to combine this technical and artistic context in OS-1.

Luminous Melody(빛나는 선율)는 Emotion 작업 시리즈의 연장선으로 현대인의 감정을 분석하고, 이를 치유하는 작품입니다. 실시간으로 인공지능이 관객의 표정과 음성을 통해 감정을 분석하고, 해당 감정을 치유하는 빛과 소리를 보여줍니다.
Concept : Lightcave(빛의 동굴)
동굴은 초기 인류에게 외부환경의 포식자로부터 보호해주었고, 주거지이자 식량과 자원을 저장하는 장소였습니다. 아쏘드는 이에 감명을 받아서 디지털 기술과 빛을 기반으로 인스톨레이션을 구현하고, 빛의 동굴을 감정의 치유공간으로 보여주고자 합니다.

"Artificial intelligence facial expression & voice technology for emotional healing"
Interactive Light Installation
Luminous Melody is an extension of the Emotion work series, which analyzes and heals modern people's emotions. In real-time, artificial intelligence analyzes emotions through the audience's facial expressions and voices, and shows light and sound that heals those emotions.
Concept: Light Cave
Caves protected early humans from predators of the outside environment, and were both shelters and places to store food and resources. Inspired by this, Media art studio Arthod wants to implement installations based on digital technology and light, and show the light cave as a healing space for emotions.

레이저를 통해 생성되는 빛의 패턴, light sculpture 미디어아트는 다양한 매체와 기술을 활용하여 시각적, 청각적 감성을 전달합니다. 아쏘드는 예술에 도입된 기술, 인프라를 그저 산업적인 측면에서 바라보는 것이 아닌, 그 내재적 의미를 탐구하여, 작품에 적용해 왔습니다. 수원화성에서 선보이게 될 ‘Transmission’은 이러한 과정의 연장선에 있는 작품입니다. 예로부터, 인류의 꿈과 이상은 통신 기술을 통해 현실로 구현되고 확장되어 왔고, 우리는 전송이라는 프로세스에 인류의 이상이 투영되어 있다고 보았습니다. 작품은 이를 시각화, 패턴화하여 관객에게 몰입적 경험을 체현하게 하고, 기술을 바라보는 새로운 시각을 전달합니다.
