Around the Pot 100 miler grace!
This year weather was great so I couldn’t miss it! From freezing morning it went into sunny 25 Degrees.
Wish my legs lasted a bit longer but those rolling hills had me! It was great though to enjoy the beautiful views of blooming yellow canola fields and meet new people and see some old friends!
Bike was perfect and so were my tyres! 10 @maurten_official gels over 5 hours of fun plus extra sandwich at water point!

Beautiful day out—took in the views and saw more donkeys in one field than I’ve seen in my whole life 🫏
Almost froze at the start, but new bike day made up for it and I loved it!! Can’t wait for a big adventure.
Also… can someone teach me how to start strong? Need to work on that.

One song on stuck in my head for 9hrs in the saddle…& shoooooo that took unnecessarily long🙂↕️ it was very cute until 120km and then… not SO lekker, but still lekker?
A leka weekend with the boys and a bonus result winning the 100 Miler Teams category 🥇 with @mostaveragecyclist was a great morale booster for me after not having a great start to 2025.
We went for a jol, as it should be, and this result wasn’t expected after seeing some stronger competition on the start line. But I’ve learned the wheel turns and being healthy and privileged to ride is all we can hope for. It does feel great when silverware does end up in your lap 😁👌🤌

10 hour jol on the Mic yesterday at the BWell Around The Pot. So awesome seeing all the legends out in Swellendam.
