Philadelphia round of @wpcyclinga brought out a dissapointing 37 elite riders bearing the misty conditions. Smack bang as the race started Wynand from @asapcycling attacked taking 3 riders with him, @carloengelbrecht_ chased them down bringing the peloton along. Another ASAP attack went up road creating a split of around 15 riders that held no more than 400m on average. With breakaway attempts and the urgency of the peloton not accepting the gap it was brought back just before the 30km mark. With strong cross winds attacks came and eventually the bunch split up for good this time with 18 riders fighting for the podium. A sprint finish seemed inevitable but @freddie_visser had other plans and launched a solo attack for podium glory only to be reeled in meters before the finish line by non other than @the__lange taking win followed by @migz_107_ and @carloengelbrecht_ rounding off the podium.
As for my rider of day, well id rather like commend the following riders on improving form
@corbin_mann@aadam_esa@weitzlloyd welcome back👏
@handre_rousseau
Disclaimer! Rather ask me directly 😃
WP Perderberg race formed part of the @mzansi.nrs2026 series
A breakaway was consistent for 2 laps until riders started making big moves 80kms in
@asapcycling controlled most of the race with everyone else playing second fiddle.
The smaller Teams made multiple attacks but got closed down. With 14 riders in breakaway seemed hard to split. Weather played its part perfectly without much guttering.
Congrats @the__lange on taking the win
Had the pleasure of capturing these moments of @ethan_kulsen_ new rider for @rh77cycling in Western Province
Join me as we welcome and wish him a successful 2026 racing campaign alongside @carloengelbrecht_
Western Province Killarney league race #3
This was one for the books, @rh77cycling rider @carloengelbrecht_ went full throttle from start to finish. Being closed down twice and attacked the group everytime with @realty_dynamix representing in each break. @team_mad_macs was relentless with their closing down attempts only to have Carlo attack 2 laps to go and win the peloton breathing down his neck. Congrats @williampiat on 2nd @the__lange 3rd
What a fast action filled race
The Redhill circuit didnt dissapoint and must admit was gnarly at certain points.
@luke_moir_ wasted no time attacking first on Redhill climb and only a select few could follow.
The 4 stayed away the entire race.
Attacks came hard from @cartime_pro_cycling and this cost them dearly later during the race.
@reitz.hofmeyr4 and brother @francois_hofmeyr stayed true with the chasing bunch
@carloengelbrecht_@danloubser and @daniyalmatthews made it hard on last climb but never saw the leading 4
Cuddos @cole_punchie for a spectacular win
With @cole_punchie starting his sprint early and taking the win, @luke_moir_ nearly going over him, but just didn't have the legs. @willem_visagie2005 rounding off the podium in third place.

Western Cape Gravel Champs 2026
120kms finishing down Bainskloof pass brought some exciting racing with 3 riders in breakaway around 35kms with only @hofmeyr_coaching loosing contact on Top of Bains. These 3 riders included @cobus.marais finishing 3rd and @danloubser aka birthday boy taking win. The peloton showed no promise of closing down and 45sec majority gap with gusts of winds blowing. Just before the sand section @willem_visagie2005 2nd @carloengelbrecht_ 10th @the__lange 4th showed some urgency chasing the breakaway with @carloengelbrecht_ loosing out on chase and being caught out by few trailing riders. From my view @tiano.da.silva@keagan_bontekoning played a huge part in keeping the breakaway visible and me awake 😆
With so much racing this weekend we hope that the next Ronde series sees bigger entry list. Race was superbly organized and the route was challenging enough. Huge congrats @danloubser my rider of day playing the field and getting the win
Cyclist have asked and sorry this is basically all I could manage from car mostly.
Congrats to all participants of @ctcycletour was an absolute gorgeous day and totally fantastic crowd cheering from sidelines
WP Century Criterium formed part of the @mzansi.nrs2026 series a 1.6km circuit with duration of 45 minutes on a somewhat damp course saw the race light up immediately.
Within 3 laps splits formed and a select few battled it out win. 10min left saw @willem_visagie2005 breakaway leaving rest fighting for podium positions. Last lap saw @johanntrotzky launch a mid pack attack only to be beaten by @ethan_kulsen_ who played a patient game securing 2nd. Rider of day handsdown @willem_visagie2005 who is definitely earning his position @asapcycling as to go2guy in absence of Team spriner. Next up @ctcycletour

Just for fun and celebrations
Since the @rh77killarney crit series take over one must say fun was had with prizes at every event.
With this being last one till September later this year, it seems @asapcycling took full advantage with a full squad line-up
With solo entries @luke_moir_@carloengelbrecht_ and @johanntrotzky made sure racing was hard and fought till breakaway was formed. Will racing in reverse splits were bound happen and chasers had no chance closing down this strong breakaway of 5
My rider of day handsdown @luke_moir_ who played his part pretty well ensuring a breakaway formed sooner than later, he also went on to win the race within the hour.
Was absolute pleasure snapping this series and seeing riders progress and find cycling success in their own way through RH77
