Race Report | WP League Race 7 β Philadelphia
The WP League race at Philadelphia went fairly well, with the team well represented in every split throughout the race.
Moves by solo riders and teams were covered and controlled well in the spicy crosswinds, with @theuns_vdbank taking the MVP award πͺπΌ
@freddie_visser launched a powerful attack with around 3km to go, putting the other teams on the back foot to bring him back. Unfortunately, he was caught with 100m to go, but @migz_107_ did what he could in the sprint to bring home 2nd place behind Tyler π₯
All in all, a solid race, but the team wanted a little more. Onto the next one π

Race Report | WP League Race 6 β Perdeberg
125km over 5 laps made for a tough and tactical day out.
From early on, it was clear the race would likely be controlled for a sprint finish. We managed to place @theuns_vdbank in an early breakaway that stayed clear for a few laps before the race split on the main climb.
RDx was well represented in the front group of around 15β20 riders, with @johanntrotzky , @migz_107_ , @freddie_visser and @williampiat all making the move.
Johan and Freddie did a great job controlling the pace and keeping Miguel and William as fresh as possible. Despite a number of attacks, the race was brought back together and set up for a sprint finish.
We were confident heading into the sprint with Miguel, but in the final kilometre he unfortunately suffered a dropped chain after some close racing in the bunch.
In the end, William secured 2nd place, with Freddie finishing 4th.π₯
A strong performance from the team overall, although it was unfortunate not to be able to fully contest the sprint as planned.

Race Report | WP League Race 3 - Killarney
Today the team took on the 3rd round of the Western Province Road Series held at Killarney.
With 5 riders, we knew we could race aggressively and make moves happen. From the gun, the racing was hot, with moves going constantly and our guys present in every one.
@freddie_visser made a split of two for most of the race. With 15 minutes to go, the split was brought back and @williampiat went off the front with Carlo.
The race was shortened by 5 minutes without anyoneβs knowledge, and with no bell but a whistle, the last lap was chaotic. William unfortunately never heard the whistle and came home in second.
A great performance by the team all in all, with the MVP of the day going to Freddie πͺ
Now for a short break before Round 4.
