Vandaag is de première van NYX van @hamerkarlijn , en het is zo mooi geworden!! NYX is een sonisch ritueel op de grens van dag naar nacht, een muzikale schemertocht naar het donker. Terwijl natuurlijke geluiden uit het bos, de stemmen van @kobraensemble en elektronische klanken van @arnoldmathijs in elkaar overvloeien, worden silhouetten steeds minder zichtbaar en transformeert de omgeving. Samen gaan we op in het donker, het donker dat in onze wereld steeds meer verdwijnt. Langzaam verschuift onze focus van de dagelijkse realiteit naar de poëtische vertraging van precies dat moment.
Kom je met ons ‘schemeren’? Vanaf vandaag t/m zondag op Bosfest in @bostheater in het Amsterdamse bos. Wij hebben er ontzettend veel zin in! 💚

The last couple of months I've been working on the composition/sound design/electronics for NYX, an outdoor theatrical music performance by @hamerkarlijn about twilight, our increasingly illuminated world and the wish to put darkness and the unknown on a pedestal.
Premiering at Bosfest @bostheater on the 20th of august and playing until the 24th. It's become something unique and awe-inspiring, so come, (don't) see and listen 🌌

Een bijzonder moment waar we enorm naar hebben uitgekeken. We zijn trots op de voorstelling en het team en kunnen niet wachten om het met jullie te delen.
