Thrilled to announce our next film as ARCTIC SKIES – launching at EFM this February. Starring Morfydd Clark @morfydd_clark and Ariyon Bakare @ariyonb , Arctic Skies is the second feature from directors brothers Elliot and Zander Weaver after their debut indie breakout, Cosmos. Inspired by one of the most well-documented UFO encounters on record, the film follows the harrowing journey of a 2-pilot crew of a cargo plane who become the target of extraterrestrial attention, 40,000 above the Arctic Circle. A taut, real-time sci-fi thriller, Arctic Skies explores survival and fear at the blurred edges of our world. Producers are Jamie Gamache and Connor O’Hara of @lowkeyfilms , alongside Elliot and Zander Weaver, @ellandzand who co-produce through Elliander Pictures with Colin M. McKeown @yerman_cmk . Independent Films are attached as Executive Producers @independent_entertainment_ and are launching sales with filming to take place at Steven Knight’s Digbeth Loc. The days you helped me with my classical audition for drama school. Me watching you shine in your first self penned play Ave Africa or dancing at billstickers whilst you threw down on stage, you sang hard !! You inspired me to write, inspired me to act. Sometimes the perfect job comes with a formidable array of challenges. Shakespeare is not my forte and everyday playing this part I’m plagued with an overwhelming feeling of imposter syndrome. Claudius is a lonely man with his own inner demons, holding the weight of an offence so rank that he doesn't even feel he can share it with God. The psychology of a man in a constant state of paranoid turmoil, can leave an actor feeling quite vulnerable and raw. I may never ever achieve the level of perfection I expect from myself but then I realise that Shakespeare is a psychological excavation of exploring and the more you dig the more gems you find. That's why he is the best playwrite ever. I'm now obsessed and finally ready to face those parts Ive steered away from. With that said Im grateful to have shared this experience with a wonderful supportive cast, who I watch in awe and learn from more than they would know, our beautiful director #justinadubert and our tremendously sensational hamlet @gterera , the kindest man in the business.
