ANNOUNCEMENT— Arithmetic’s sustainability packaging design for United & Free body and hair care has been short listed for TWO(!!!!) prestigious packaging design awards @thedieline Hair and skin care for all bodies. For the earth. For the ocean. We co-created a body and hair care brand intending to eliminate the amount of packaging in your bathroom by making one multi-purpose product that offers three solutions. For every 10 tonnes of sugarcane crushed, a sugar factory produces nearly 3 tonnes of bagasse waste. Made from that waste stream, we created an outer shell to protect the balm on-shelf and during shipping. The custom form of the outer packaging outlines the curvature of the vessel held within, a metaphor for transparency that is foundational to United & Free’s values. The bagasse packaging can be composted after the package is opened, closing the loop. The bottle revealed inside, flooded in the brand’s signature blue, is glass which is made from sand. It’s 100% recyclable. The lid is made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. The Shape of Something New — Hoarding design just went up for Plenty in celebration of their soon to open Coquitlam store. An expansive signage concept spanning over 116 ft. The hoarding features large-scale editorial imagery and 3D agamograph panels that shift perspective as viewers walk by. The editorial images and agamographs celebrate the spirit of metamorphosis — embracing change with open arms. ANNOUNCEMENT — Our packaging design program for Feel skincare has just won the internationally acclaimed PENTA Award. We guided the Feel skincare brand through a metamorphosis to reflect a new state of consciousness. Everything has evolved from the brand’s foundation to the formulations of its product line, and outwards to all of its expression points. What colour is your soul? What colour is the vibration of your heart? In defining an own able colour for the Feel brand, we delved inward to the souls expression and then outwardly with our print partners to develop a custom, rich and humanistic shade to emote the inner qualities of heart work. We believe in the symbiotic balance of the head and the heart. To deepen our understanding of ourselves, we must seek out information, both internally and externally to expand our capacity for understanding. This is an unending process, leading us deeper and deeper within ourselves, and we are in love with the journey of self.
