Sharing a beautiful mid century home, thoughtfully reimagined by @officemb.ca and featured in the current issue of @westernliving
This house is situated amongst tall fir and cedar trees, with amazing light flooding throughout the home.
It was such a great shoot made even better by the fabulous homeowner @michellembelle and the team at OMB. So happy it made the cover too!

Australia is my second home. I love the wildlife, museums, galleries, architecture, country towns, the flora, food and the smell of gum trees. It has it all. @robertedmonds and I lived there eons ago, but go back as often as possible to hang out with his family. 🩷
I’ve spoken to a few humans worried about a possible run-in with snakes or spiders, and the long flight. I can tell you I’ve never laid eyeballs on a snake (though they are there) and only occasionally see a spider (not the poisonous kind). It’s kind of like when people are worried about bumping into a bear or cougar in BC ;)
It is a long flight, but so worth it.

The perfect, woodsy, cabin. Maybe not exactly a cabin, more of a townhouse, but it has a cabiny feel;)

The light and shadows were just perfect. Loved shooting it.

Lovely Christmases past…
I’ve shot many Christmas stories over the years, so I thought I’d share some of the beautiful florals and greens of just a few of them. From full on to minimal, they all work.
Having just made a 15 foot garland myself, i appreciate florists even more now!

This beautiful home, located at Sakinaw Lake, was designed by the talented team of women at @knightvarga who also decorated for the story. Florals by the amazing Jehna, of @hilary.milesflowers

I’m so happy to see this beautiful story in print, in @styleathome as capturing it was a snowy adventure, but Cheryl of @littlewhitemanor always makes it worthwhile.

We’ve shot many Christmas stories, together, but this one had the added bonus of a surprise snowstorm. It may have taken us 3 hours to get there (normally it would take 75 min), but there was no turning back once we got stuck in the blizzard. It all made for the prettiest Christmas story. Thanks to Cheryl and Gene for a lovely shoot 🤍

This fabulous collection of recipes was book number 4 that Ive had the honour to shoot with @chefannaolson …and it’s a good one.
One of the best things about shooting with Anna, besides some really amazing eating, is the incredible team of women I get to work with. Always lots of laughs and inspiration when shooting with Anna, @cat_therrien and @lmhr123
Shout out to both Anna and @chefmolson for being fabulous hosts while I’m there, and always making sure the “vegetarian” has a great dinner….and a beer ;)
If you’re a fan of Anna’s baking, you need to experience her straight up cooking!
My iPhone seems to know me…I was thinking about my first trip to Italy and, lo and behold, it presented me with a pop up of my trip. Only a little freaky 😬
Lots of happy memories, with family, amazing food, history and culture. I’d love to go back.
