2 days, a couple rewrites, and more shots than we should have been able to capture, and EDFC 2026 is wrapped. I think itās safe to say most of us got into this industry to make a difference, and what better way to do that than to donate our time and knowledge to raise awareness for disabilities.
Once again, my personality was honored to make an appearance AFTER wrap (1st ADs iykyk), and of course I was honored to work with some very talented and special people. Keep an eye out for the final cut, as well as all the other entries to the challenge.

People ask me all the time what got me into the film industry. The answer I give them usually has to do with influential DPs in my childhood, a love for combining tech and art, etc etc. But the real reason (that i almost never share) is to just get insane selfies and my cat in 120fpsā¦ sorry yāall.
my life getting blown up exactly 4 years ago today was the best thing that happened to me.
an entire community, employer, and educational system dropping out from under you isnāt something that leaves the nerves cool, but it also leads to the best surprises. otherwise I wouldnāt have moved to the west coast on a whim without a single plan in my head. which led to portland. that led to los angeles. that led to all of the absolutely insane places iāve been, things iāve seen, and people iāve met. the people that opened up parts of me i never knew existed. the people that loved me more than i knew was possible. losing all my opportunities just opened up 100x more.
so grateful for my life as i knew it ending on march 14 2022.
Had an absolutely radical day shooting the El Porto Surf Contest on Saturday. The vibes were as good as the waves, and the whole neighborhood showed up stoked af. It was sick to watch Julian bring the heat in both longboard and shortboard heats! And of course, got to be intimidated by groms pulling off some sick shit š®āšØ

Been doing a bit of self reflection, self auditing. When I put my phone on DND for multiple days on end, I know itās time for me to run away a little bit, to the places where I feel like I can breathe again. So this time was a couple days camping in the San Gabriels. You should try it. When things get too much, just fck off for a bit :)
