Introducing Watermelon Co-Ferment, the last in our @argote2015 series. This is another vibrant expression of innovation and craft at @quebraditascoffeefarm in Huila, Colombia. Grown at high elevation and with carefully selected ripe cherries, this lot undergoes a multi stage process that offers some amazing flavours. Through extended fermentation with fresh ripe watermelon and selected yeast, this coffee develops a bright, juicy, and delicate profile. Here at the roastery, we taste notes of melon and soft florals with a smooth vanilla cream finish. We’ve been particularly enjoying it black over ice! #new #instacoffe #newcoffee #colombia

Tonnes of sweetness, big aroma and a profile that tastes like a bag of sweets. This coffee truly is a unique, exceptional profile with a cup score of 89. Ombligon contains high amounts of Isoamyl Acetate - an organic compound used to add fun flavours to bubblegum and banana sweets. When undergoing the yeast innoculated natural process, those notes become bigger and more vibrant. -- A washed Bourbon Peaberry from @rwamatamucoffee via @omwanicoffee . After working through our first washed coffees from Rwamatamu far quicker than anticipated, we have selected yet another delicious, balanced, syrupy coffee from the high mountains of Mbare to represent washed East African coffees in the offering. This lot is a compelling case for traditionally processed coffee and how unique expressive that can be. Rwamatamu focus heavily on community as a washing station, providing ways for farmers to increase self-sufficiency and income. Working together deliver healthcare and educational support. -- A natural Arara and Catuai lot from Inacio Urban in Brazil. It's been a long time search for a coffee that holds a high cup score, is from a single producer and a crop large enough to provide a consistency all year round to coffee businesses and at home brewers. We found it! This is just delicious, good coffee. Think - your daily cup with something elevated that invites you to sit a little longer and soak in the flavours and silky feel of what it has to offer.
