"Capturing more than just an alluring image, the compositions carry symbols of memory and culture. With roots in the floral still life genre, this collection exhibits a deep form of storytelling through life experience, floral beauty, and allusions to the ephemerality of both."

"The craft will hold its own weight .... I used metal for the cover to mimic the actual material of the window itself in the fabrication, and by binding the book with rings, you could technically open it up and switch around the order. You could also even take a piece out and hang it on your wall or put it on your fridge."

In April, we ran a Student Design Charette Series with RDI to design an ARCADE Distribution Display! Students were asked to design a purpose-built object that stores, displays, and invites people to pick up a free copy of the ARCADE print journal.
The winning design will be fabricated and deployed as the inaugural box in the pilot program! Stay tuned to find out more about our winning design.
Special thanks to @theshopbyporter for graciously hosting the Charette!
"As the pre-event planning turns into post-event adaptation, what will remain is improved, accessible city infrastructure, enhanced operational capabilities, and a strengthened connectivity of the greater Seattle area’s transportation network."

Join us on May 1 at Cannonball Arts for A Sexual History of the Internet: a live, participatory lecture performance by @mindyseu .
In the participatory lecture performance, citations are read aloud by you, the audience.
Through a shared script on your mobile device. It is a performance of recitation as the room echoes in vibrant colors. It reveals the pervasive and perverted origins of our digital tools. How have technologies shaped and been shaped by sexuality? Together, we will examine the relationships between techno-development and sexuality, innovation and autonomy, lust and extraction.
Come be part of the experiment.
