An illustrated Shakespeare edition has a new home in the @UofWALibraries ' Special Collections! 📖✨
What started as an outreach from the owner of a 19th-century, three-volume Shakespeare edition—full of detailed illustrations and in great condition—grew into a collaboration between @UWDrama and @UofWALibraries . Now, the volumes are being prepared for Special Collections, where they will be accessible to the @UofWA community and the broader community.
“The books fit in with the University’s emphasis on multidisciplinary work,” said Julie Tanaka, UW Libraries' Associate Dean for Distinctive Collections.
