@barcelona_cat is adapting to the new mobility and environmental needs and redefining the way of living in the city. Barcelona Council is using #tacticalurbanism to change the function of some streets quickly and cheaply in order to gain more space for pedestrians. We’ve been commissioned to design the new visual system for this tactical interventions.

Mario Eskenazi (Mario Eskenazi Studio) – Jury President. Referente del diseño gráfico contemporáneo con base en Barcelona. Especialista en identidad corporativa, señalización y diseño editorial. Premio Nacional de Diseño en España y Laus de Honor 2026. Miembro de AGI.
Javier Arizu (SMLXL) – Partner & Creative Director en Nueva York. Ex Pentagram, cofundador de Pràctica y con experiencia en Sagmeister & Walsh y Mucho. Su trabajo ha sido reconocido por D&AD, ADC y TDC.
Dani Arauna (Arauna Studio) – Fundador de Arauna. Su práctica explora sistemas gráficos aplicados a identidad, espacios y campañas, con proyectos para instituciones culturales y públicas. Miembro de AGI.
Gemma Villegas (Gemma Villegas Studio) – Diseñadora enfocada en el sector cultural. Desarrolla identidades, proyectos editoriales y exposiciones con una base conceptual sólida y precisión tipográfica. Profesora en Eina.
Rachel Denti (Nike Inc.) – Art Director y diseñadora. Ex Sagmeister & Walsh, actualmente lidera proyectos de diseño y storytelling visual en Nike, desarrollando colecciones globales con enfoque cultural.
Una combinación de experiencia, pensamiento estratégico y sensibilidad cultural que definirá la excelencia en diseño gráfico este 2026.

Gomila (G2+Parking). El Terreno. Palma de Mallorca
Centred around Plaza Gomila, close to the city’s harbour, El Terreno is among Palma’s most historic neighborhoods. The resulting designs, collectively named Gomila, aim to recover the essence of a neighborhood that occupies a lasting place in the memory of many Mallorcans.
Gomila’s identity and signage is based on a typographic system derived from the vernacular typography found on signs and signals in the area and follwing the architectural forms by @mvrdv and @grasreynesarquitectos
