Next Saturday night from 23:00, Makaan return to our Steam Room with their seventh event - an 11 hour extended edition - and conclude a monumental year for the collective. Introducing our third artist for our 10 hours techno journey. @aramdien a resident artist at Makaan Records and one of old school artists within Iranian music scene. Based in Iran, he has over 15 years of experience in music production and DJing, starting his career within the country’s underground music community. Though he briefly relocated to Istanbul, Turkey, where he performed at venues like Suma Han and Temple…! Araam returned to Iran, where he continues to make an impact. His unique sound has made him a recognized name in the electronic music scene, with gigs extending to cities like Tbilisi, Georgia, at TES Club. Although travel restrictions have prevented Araam from playing at events like Makaan 7 @fold.ldn in London, he remains dedicated to sharing his music with the world. His story highlights the challenges faced by artists from regions with limited global access, but Araam’s passion keeps him pushing boundaries, connecting with audiences through virtual performances and beyond.
