After a long hiatus from traveling due to work and life’s ups and downs, I finally found the motivation to hit the road again in search of the best downhill spots in my country. This time, I headed to Tanger, the highest city in Morocco, with my

Tanger welcomed us with open arms, bustling with life from dusk till dawn. The cityscape adorned with lights, towering buildings, and mind-blowing descents left me in awe at every turn.
The first night was a stroke of luck as a friend lent us his car. Despite the heavy traffic, I couldn’t resist indulging in blind dropping at every spot, knowing I might not get another chance.
Challenges arose with Ramadan, making it difficult to climb back up the hills on empty stomachs and parched throats. We made the most of the evenings, although many spots lacked proper lighting.
A shoutout to
@hanota_pirate , a local skateboarder and rising star, for accompanying me on every descent with his regular skateboard. We tried to sync our runs, balancing my speed to match the angles of the camera.
Tanger left an indelible mark on me, and I won’t hesitate to return with fellow freeboarders whenever I get the chance. It’s truly an iconic city for this sport!
