JUNIOR SUMMARY (and some more U11s Photos)
On Sunday, the U13s secured a QF Summer Cup spot with a win over Dukinfield. Patrick's early 3fer got us to off to a fine start before LGB, Max and Fletch got in on the attack to keep the visitors to 50.
William and Benedict were in fluid form opening up before Oliver finished the job with a breezy 10*.
The 11s followed them into the Summer Cup Knockout Stage with a win away to Stalybridge. Debutant Dolly batting beautifully opening up before Kiki, Max and William accelerated in the later overs.
Stalybridge scored nicely but King of Swing Al took 3fer to halt their charge, as they finished 28 short.
The 9s has been a real success story with numbers booming on Friday nights. Their latest trip to Ashton saw the Reds win 1 and lose 1 whilst the Blues fell short in both games despite encouraging signs with the bat.
On Weds, the 18s were undone at home by Ashton. Charlie (18) and Dan (19) started nicely but their dismissals halted early momentum before an excellent counter attacking 28 from Thomas Norris took us to 77. James Starr trapped the opener LBW first up to have Ashton 1 down but from there they knuckled down and got over the line with room to spare.

I don’t have the words to describe my feelings right now, attending a fan event of one of my favourite Super hero franchises while wearing an inspired outfit was not on my bucket list. I am forever grateful for this opportunities and I promise that I’m working hard to do more and more!
