Pretty excited to share that in a small full circle moment I'll be opening for Deb Googe of My Bloody Valentine on the 8th of March in Droichead Arts Centre Drogheda, here is a photo of me from @thethinair a couple of years ago with a copy of Loveless when asked about some of the albums that have been most influential to me. Thank you for listening to my new song from me and this particular duck. I've been shy of revealing the meaning of the song because these things are so deeply uncomfortable. I tend to obfuscate the things that are hard to say. And I know that there is some manner of internalised misogyny at play where I feel that it is too unsettling to be vocal about the experience of being a woman. Bristle of Delusion was born out of a state of anger and frustration amidst the bewildering experience of inhabiting a woman's body. The maddening state of having a rich and complex inner world but being coveted simply for the allure of the female body that is so powerful as to drive many to deceit or violence. Thank you for listening and sharing, bringing dark music into the world at such dark times can sometimes feel a little self serving so I'm really glad it's resonating with people 🌹 📷 @caitfa

Julie McLarnon @analoguecatalogue @analoguecataloguerecords on engineering and production . @siunmoriarty artist development I ran into many hurdles trying to get this song over the line and really was so unsure if I should even release it at all but with the encouragement of fans at live shows and online, from the people closest to me and many many tarot readings here it is.
