Today two more artists for roskot 2025 (sunday 7 september, aalst/alost)
arthur chambry lives and works in his basement studio in brussels.
there, he plays music, tinkers with instruments, writes stories and songs, dances and gesticulates.
when he emerges from his hole, it is to find large spaces whose acoustics carry his sounds, his lyrics and his voice. alone, in pairs (sans âge, zanc) or in groups, in cellars, churches and old hangars, he busies himself making history with a complex orchestration of old clogs, inflators, pvc flutes, chimes and other odds and ends. trace the history of ‘la seuz’ on his latest vinyl released on the brussels label futura resistenza in may 2023.
anouk kellner is a sound artist and composer based in belgium. her interest in the church organ instrument is something that appears frequently in her latest work. blending this with new technologies and experimentation, she wants to create worlds of sound, exploring textures and storylines.
