It is 2 months since my landmark judgment ‘Ms S Pal v Accenture UK Ltd’ was handed down.
We are seeing a major movement of advocacy for women with Endometriosis. This is because of the collaborative efforts of incredible endo warriors across the country who are braving their storm to speak up and share their story.
There are so many voices coming through for us: supportive MPs, journalists motivated to make a positive change, compassionate organisations, inspiring artists and activists. Humankind is leading with empathy and curiosity.
Endometriosis has no cure right now. It is a progressive whole body inflammatory disease from a gynaecological source.
Like all health conditions, endometriosis has a range of severities. It is a condition which can be disabling and my case of Unfair Dismissal has set legal precedent for women with endometriosis to be protected under the Equality Act 2010.
My campaign to formally list Endometriosis in the Equality Act 2010 Guidance on the definition of disability is to ensure that every employer in the UK adheres to their legal duty. To put an end to women with Endometriosis facing discrimination in the workplace.
My mission goes beyond endometriosis. It is for every impairment with fluctuating and recurring effects that women struggle with every day - adenomyosis, fibroids, PCOS, PMDD, menopause and menstrual disorders. And there are many more conditions that I am learning about from your comments and messages.
Thank you to everyone who is supporting my campaign for endometriosis in the workplace. I’m so happy to be able to post this clip of the coverage on
