We’ve finally finished moving. This is our house in upstate NY - we’ve named it @sugarfoxhill in honor of the fox family that has a den in the ravine and entertain themselves frequently in the old sugar shack. It’s not a farmhouse, and it’s not all black (yet), but it is an 1870s home that overlooks the Hudson River. The narrow lane it sits on is named after the riverboat captain that lived here with his family. (They left good vibes - “not scary spooky old house feels” per my kids’ descriptions.) After so many years, it’s so nice to finally have a place to call home.

A cold day in Skaneateles that hovered between autumn and winter. It’s pronounced “skinny atlas” which is fun to say and amuses me greatly.
