Wrote a movie inspired by my mom and me. It’s a dramedy in the vein of Little Miss Sunshine or Lady Bird. I’m calling it a coming-of-age film for late-blooming adults. This is the most autobiographical thing I’ve written so far. And this one is extra exciting because as is the case for many, it’s been a tough go getting projects off the ground the last few years. Frustrated with waiting to hear a “yes” from the powers that be, we decided we’re just gonna go make a damn movie however we can, right here in St. Louis. So stay tuned because over the next year and beyond I plan to be talking about this one a lot!
