A few days an ago Siphokazi Khumalo, who is the Mzansi Reel Stories’ festival & mentorship coordinator had a chat with inandafm’s @iamsiyaseme to discuss the mentorship programme. Currently taking place around KZN, the mentorship seeks to empower young creators in the areas of podcasting, monetization & storytelling.

The Film & TV Masterclass, hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) and the KZN Tourism & Film Authority, brought together emerging creatives and industry trailblazers in Ugu for a day of knowledge sharing and inspiration.
From directing and production to cinematography and location scouting - experts Thomas Gumede, Philani Brown, Sindisiwe Khumalo, and Andile Buwa guided participants through the realities of building successful productions in KwaZulu-Natal.
