#GOODNEWS #3cyclesDown 3/26 They say when you pray with faith, God answers. I like it more in IsiZulu. "Uma ukhuleka ngokukholwa uNkuluNkulu uyaphendula. I met my Oncologist last October, and I liked the way he paid attention to detail. So when he returned me back to the 1st institution where everything started for what I thought was a little thing when I realized how that little thing was important. I prayed to God that when I return to the 2nd institution, I still have him as my Dr. When I returned, I was served by two different Dr's, which I was not complaining about because they were females who were very caring. Guess what my joy was today when I saw him and had to return to his care. Amen 🙏🏼 🙌🏾 So today I bring the good news from my Oncologist Dr M. Mpanza. As you'll see for yourself in this Reel, he said "I'm doing great." The progress is visible. I'm no longer swollen or getting swollen. The lymphs/nodes since I've started Chemo are fading. He is happy with the progress, so am I. The best part is I was given 26 cycles, which I was to attend each session once a month, which meant after the last two sessions I had a whole 2 years on me. So my Dr today changed all that I will be doing 2 in one month. Great is your mercy towards me, Lord 🙌🏾 I have attached some other developments which are not good, but I'm not WORRIED about them because they're temporary and they're gonna pass soon. FYI, these are part of the Chemotherapy side effect, as seen in this Reel. My hands are not too clear on the Reel, but they are literally brown with dots. One of my silly cousins said, " Cuz you so fashionable you have freckles in your hands...damn creatives 😂😂😂" My skin has turned dark, and some areas are peeling. Thank you for all your Love, Prayers, Support during this fight I'm facing. Cancer won't win. Good Morning to my beautiful fam. I know I've been quiet for a bit. I had nothing new to say 😕. So, the chemotherapy had succeeded in making my hair fall. This means every part of my body that grows hair has been affected. So I had to finally shave for cancer, not as my own choice anymore (to those who thought all along I've been shaving because of it before. This is my first shave because of cancer). I always thought when we get to this stage it will be okay because I'm used to shave like this just nje, but the honest truth is part of me was hurt that I had to do it because of an illness out of my will. But anyway, hair grows again. Just that I think I'm still going to be bold for a little longer. Someone asked me how many chemo cycles I have been given...in total, they are 26, but as I type to post, I'm left with 24 have done two already. This means I have a whole of 2 years left in total because I do one each month. That doesn't bother me because I see and feel the difference in me. I don't get swollen, and my lymps/nodes on my neck are slowly disappearing. I have healed bodywise. Some of you have seen how I've lost weight. At some point (towards my discharge in hospital) , I couldn't walk properly. My legs, like my face, were drastically affected by the steroids. Now I'm fine. I have been away from the steroids for more than a month now. So all is well. God has been so faithful. He listened to all those who kept their prayer promises and prayed for me. 11/03/23 - #UmemuloKaNozipho A day I will forever cherish in my lifetime where I become/acknowledged as a fully grown woman. Celebrating this day with all my sides of families oMdletshe, oDlodlo, oNtshangase, oMatsenjwa, oMthembu. The joy of my brothers #Bongani in a traditional shirt and my brother #Lungelo in a black T-shirt. I never knew he could pull those moves ngezinduku 😜🤭 To my friends who left everything to come to KwaNongoma to celebrate with me. @zonkebeauty , who was with me all the way from the day I lend in Durban from Capetown, doing groceries and traveling to Kwagogo where umemulo was to take place to walking topless for almost 100kms around the village inviting people to come to umemulo on Saturday (Its called Umcimelo/ukucimela) to going to the Matsenjwa's to collect the precious spear (Umkhonto womalume) @sindimagidla who had a rather dramatic arrival in KwaNongoma at night and had a dramatic experience and was there to the Matsenjwa's to collect umkhonto @rabi who decided to come and celebrate her birthday weekend, @amandabnkosi , who came on her birthday to stand on my side, after she's been coordinating the event since day one. Until she had to deal with certain family members who were getting out of hand. YES, my grannies family side phela nami angibajwayele 🫣 @mqthedirector and @ayanda_bandla , who had 2/3 tyer punchers at night by Utrecht, and still came with smiles the following day. @zukonodada , who bought me a 🐐 (in a form of cash) and came with @dumdiesel , they came on a Friday to eat meat. @thabiso.senne had a new show running but decided to travel regardless. @neo the crazy soul in my life and with #Melo my ninja. All these people I met through working with them to become more as family they've been there in good times and they still here as I fight this cancer war. I consider myself blessed. Oh, how I forget Umfundisi uShezi @trevorshezi no @thamimdlalos . we @madlula_travel_and_tours Thami saved the day that's a story for another day 😁 The saddest part of this day was that my mom was not there, and she had no knowledge of this celebration she was already suffering from Dementia #nocancerformedagainstmeshallprosper

The journey: So I wake up on the 20th of July 2023. I notice something bumpy on my left side of the neck. There's no pain, just so visible to be ignored. The Dr said it's stress, and I believed him because my mother was very sick at that time, and we were starting a show that needed my focus.The bump disappeared eventually. 2024, my mother's health took a drastic turn, and she passed on. The bump came back now huge and a little painful. I went to 3 different Dr's they all sang the same song of stress. The bump disappeared again. 2025: The bump came like 🔥 this time it has nodes that are moving inside it. Did I say anything about pain? Jesus, I will stand on my feet in the middle of the night, asking God to do one thing. One of the days I woke up, there was a new neighbor on the right side pain I've never experienced in my life. Went to a Dr who took blood, and he said he thought it's cancer of the lymphs. I never went to any Dr or health institution after that. Remember, I'm grieving my mother, and I'm confused if I want to continue to live or if it's okay. I will just follow her once. I got very sick that my whole neck was now swollen. Sometimes, I will run out of breath. For months and months, I started a diet thinking if I lose weight, maybe it will go away. In July, @thabiso.senne pushed me to see a Dr, and I did. Was sent to the hospital with immediate effect. I would go for a lot of blood tests and scans. Until September 19th 2025 where I was rushed to hospital from set because I couldn't breathe 😪. I was admitted and diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma cancer. October, no bumps as seen on my Reel, no pain, but an appointment with an oncologist at Charlotte Maxeke. Every test that was done at Helen Joseph Hospital was missing a tissue that would determine the type of chemotherapy treatment. I had to come back and book a date for the biopsy. Got a date for January December 27th was admitted since date 3 theater visits for biopsy, and we still wait for the good tissue results because the steroids they've been giving me have messed up the tissue 😢 ‼️I shaved my hair not lost to cancer yet! #nocancerformedagainstmeshallprosper #hodgkinslymphomacancer
