from the very beginning of this award season, jonathan anderson and the
@dior team were true champions for amy, so it felt only right to come full circle with them for the oscars.
when i first saw jonathan’s couture debut at dior, i fell in love with a look featuring this remarkable feather embroidery. that became the starting point for a conversation with the atelier about how to utilize it for amy. because she gravitates toward suiting on the red carpet, we reinterpreted it into a blazer—something that was her, but still carried the spirit of the original. amy and i had also bonded early on over our love of animals, so we recreated the motif in hand-embroidered organza, rather than real feathers.
we finished the look with a sequin turtleneck inspired by paul poiret, a reference pulled from jonathan’s fw26 menswear collection.
