NEW RELEASE: MAXISUD!
Maxisud is a narrow, geometrical sans serif that acts as a reinterpretation of the Futura Maxi typeface found in Photo-Lettering’s One Line Manual of Styles. It comes in two styles: a Normal one, and another version bearing inktraps, using these technical features as the visual treats they are. Why put inktraps on a phototype-inspired face, you would ask? These do look good in display, while providing texture and readability in smaller point sizes. Maxisud has a higher x-height than Futura, and shares similarities with Avant-Garde Gothic Condensed and the classic poster cut Futura Condensed ExtraBold.
Kingpins Luke & Nik assembled a series of images for this release, and we couldn’t be happier with that!

PP Editorial Sans was my first project turning a serif into a sans. What a challenging process :-)
