A year after, the festival rounds is over. More than laurels that feed the ego, I’m thankful for the places, the people, the new ideas , the new projects that I got to come close to because of it. It’s also an opportunity to spread the voice one more time. ⚠️Urgent! The fires raging across the Amazon rainforest are the highest in almost 20 years and are devastating biodiversity–killing millions of animals–Indigenous peoples territories in Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia and further threatening global climate stability. This is an escalating environmental, humanitarian, and climate emergency that requires urgent intervention. It’s time to stand up against this system and push to end policies, projects, and financial investments that incentivize deforestation, land grabbing, and harmful industrial expansion in the Amazon.
