I am delighted to have my short film Breaking Free to selected and awarded in the 1st West Bengal Short Film Festival. It was really special to be selected to be shown in my home city. My film was awarded Best Director, Best International Short and Best Student Film. I could not be there today for the ceremony but was a great honor to have my parents collect the prizes on my behalf. A big thanks though the organisers of the event, the jury and everyone who helped me i making this film.
