I’ve been shooting a documentary on the Klondike gold rush with the Salvation Army and @jeffprahl and @gs_visuals . We finally made it back to Alaska after being stuck in the Yukon for three days due to avalanches. We were super lucky and had a few “warm” and sunny days in Skagway with clear skies and beautiful sunsets. This area has some of the most stunning landscapes I’ve ever come across, and of course, being Alaska , no shortage of wildlife.
I spent the last few weeks in Portugal gaffing a medium length Portuguese film, funded by the Portuguese government. It’ll be a black & white period piece, shot in 4:3, building some crazy looks and lighting setups that may some day be looked upon as Neo Portuguese Expressionism (or so is the hope). Was a super awesome experience to be invited to Portugal to work on this project and I got to hang out with some cool animals on set as well 🫏🐓
