Proud and terrified to share DEEP NET: the most risky, complete, personal, and quintessentially Behaviorist song ever written. It dates back to as early as 2016, or even 2008, and indeed it has slowly emerged over the course of the last two decades as I’ve struggled to reckon with my anger and even hatred towards people close to me who seemed to believe the exact opposite on nearly everything. This song is part of an upcoming eponymous album that chronicles of my attempts to remain in dialogue despite that dissolution of shared reality. I used an analog #oscilloscope to make this music video and developed some techniques that, as far as I can tell, have never been seen before. I’m working on several explainer videos that will go up on the Tube, so please subscribe there after you watch the video. I may have invented some video-editing techniques in the process of making the “Deep Net” music video. Since the #oscilloscope takes audio as input, the entire video is sequenced in Logic Pro X, which let me use my #musicproduction knowledge to create #visualFX. This snippet includes a visualization of what happens harmonically when Polyphonic #FlexTime is used! Keep your eyes peeled for some in-depth explainer videos coming soon. #analogvideo
