So Help Me God
grew out of a long period of grief, spiritual questioning, and rebuilding after loss - personal, professional, and existential. After the pandemic and a series of ruptures in my life, I found myself living in between worlds: between faith and doubt, love and autonomy, belonging and exile.
This album is representative of everything I am now - at my most honest and embracive version of myself. It�s rooted in integration rather than separation, our connection to earth and to one another. The work lives in emotional layers - holding tenderness, longing, and patience alongside strength, confrontation and authority.
Ultimately, this album is an act of self-possession.
It is about standing fully in myself - complex, flawed, tender, powerful - and allowing that wholeness to
be seen.
Thank you to all my friends and family who have believed in me, supported me through and through and been so patient with me on this long ass journey. Thank you to all my incredibly funny patient fans, I�m so excited to go on this next journey with you. Thank you to my devoted + incredible team, my label family who�ve dispelled my fear of trust in this system and who believe in and support me fully. All the incredible musicians and collaborators who helped sculpt it into this magnificent force. Thank you to God both inside and out.
