24 HOURS by Ulonzi Almasi There are moments of joy and moments of sorrow and everything in between. In joy, the spirit feels free - open to dream, to move, to create. But sorrow can weigh the mind. Holding back thought and action. To live fully is to embrace them all with patience, endurance and faith in every passing moment. ✨ AMDA Dance Biennial 2026 🗓️ Ijumaa 30 Januari | 🕢 Saa 1:30 usiku 📍 Muda Kona | Dar es Salaam Supported by @eastafricaarts @norwayintz

“Underground, there is another world - pathways that connect trees and allow the forest to behave as a single organism.” Susan Simard. ROOTED explores the constant support that trees provide for humans no matter what their gender, religion, culture or race. Humans cannot live without trees though they can live centuries without us. Perhaps, if we listen to them closely enough, we may learn something about the true meaning of life. ✨ AMDA Dance Biennial 2026 🗓️ Alhamisi 29 Januari | 🕢 Saa 1:30 usiku 📍 Muda Kona | Dar es Salaam

Season’s Greetings 🎄🎄🎄 A glimpse of “Sinful” by Wesley Ruzibiza, produced by @muda_africa and performed by Muda alumni. “Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone.” This piece explores the idea of the four capital sins and the emotional states that every human being experiences while navigating temptation and committing what we might call a sinful act. In the end, we are all alone-the judges, the so-called righteous, and the sinners alike. What we see in others is often just a reflection of what lies hidden within ourselves. 💫This is (most of) our “Men in Feminism” team — artists and collaborators from India, Rwanda, Switzerland, and Germany — working together on this topic, sharing unique perspectives and challenges from many different contexts. But the journey that brought us here began years ago, in 2019 in Rwanda. At the time, we were working with choreographer Wesley Ruzibiza. During our project “Learning Feminism from Rwanda,” the performer suddenly dropped out, and Wesley stepped in. A man, unexpectedly at the center of a feminist piece. A surprising moment — and one that opened a door for us. It sparked a question that has stayed with us ever since: Why are there so few male role models in feminism? Why is it so hard to name men who visibly challenge patriarchal structures? This became the starting point of a long artistic and personal investigation with performers from Rwanda, India, Switzerland and Germany. And the deeper we searched, the clearer it became: Feminist male role models are rare. At the same time, we’re seeing a global shift: a resurgence of masculinist, authoritarian narratives, and the rapid growth of the “manosphere” on TikTok and other platforms. Young men are increasingly drawn into these spaces — perhaps because they were never truly invited into feminist conversations. And this is exactly where our performance MEN IN FEMINISM begins: An attempt to create space. To ask harder questions. To share responsibility. To imagine new forms of masculinity. Our journey started as an unexpected moment on a stage in Rwanda and it will have it’s premiere next week in Berlin. Dates: 📍 Sophiensæle Berlin – @sophiensaele 📆 December 11 (Premiere) – 13, 2025, 7:00 pm 📆 Dezember14, 2025, 6:00 pm Ticket link in Bio

The making of Multitude — threads of connection, memory, and resilience. ✨
Through process, sweat, and spirit, the work takes shape before it meets the stage.
Directed and choreographed by Wesley, imagined by him, lived through us.
It’s the laughter, the struggle, the becoming, as vulnerability, discipline, and imagination unfold together .
Behind every gesture, a story. Behind every story, a multitude. 🖤
This is where we build trust, move together, and become Multitude.
Because what binds us is more than choreography! it’s the journey of becoming a multitude.
🎥 Welcome behind the curtain! #MultitudeIsComingsoon#YouAreNotReady
