As @MuseumIngabo remains temporarily closed, we take this moment to express our sincere gratitude to the many local and international schools, universities, and institutions that visited the museum for research, learning, and cultural engagement through Contemporary Art and Storytelling.
We were honored to welcome prestigious institutions such as @harvard , @uofwa , @bayloruniversity , @alueducation , @rica_rwanda , @ughe_org , @kepler_collegerw , and the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College.
Your trust in the educational and cultural value of the arts has been deeply meaningful to us and to the wider creative community.
We remain committed to our mission, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the near future.
A museum is beyond walls.
Beyond buildings.
Beyond silence.
Museum Ingabo lives through people, memories, stories, art, and community. 🤍
This may be a temporary closure of a physical space, but not the end of the vision.
Thank you to everyone who walked with us, believed in us, visited us, and shared this dream with the world.
If you wish to support the coming back of the museum, you can support our mission or acquire artworks by @kingabo_ or any form of contribution that helps preserve this mission.

THE RIVERS KNOW
KING NGABO, 2026
MUSEUM INGABO
The rivers know where they come from.
They rise from distant sources, mountains, valleys, hidden terrains, flowing north to south, east to west. Though shaped by different paths, they do not remain apart. They move toward one another, and ultimately, they meet in the same ocean.
The rivers do not question their convergence.

At @MuseumIngabo , while hosting military students from the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College, coming from many countries, especially across our continent, I had the honor of guiding them through my installation “The Calling of Children.”
During the tour, I shared a powerful reminder drawn from President @paulkagame , who once said : “A great General is one who brings peace.”
In that moment, I echoed this truth to them: WE NEED PEACE !
