My project Canyon Peacocks is an accumulation of images captured on film at Old place over the past three years. when I moved to LA seven years ago, I didn't have a problem meeting people, but I had a problem rather I had a problem making connections. That all changed once I got my Triumph and started to frequent the Old place in Agoura Hills. Over the past three years of vibrant community has formed. A community that makes me feel good about living in Los Angeles. Excited to announce a date for my book release Canyon Peacocks. 11-15-25 On Sunset Blvd. 1114 Horn Avenue | Los Angeles | CA | 90069 Join us for the book release to grab your copy with limited amount of prints available for sale. The title Canyon Peacocks extends beyond the literal peacocks that roam the area—it’s also a nod to the spirit of “peacocking” itself. In our own ways, we all show up to express who we are, through our rides, our threads, and our shared passion for the culture that connects us. #film #carsonfilm #classiccarsonfilm #peacocks #peacocksofinstagram

Updated DP reel for the upcoming season of creation. I've been focused on raising a human so I've slacked on self promotion. • #dancephotography #videography #edits #bmpcc6k #sonyalpha

Emmy nominated producer doesn't sound as good as Emmy winning producer BUT it was still cool to be a part of special night. Appreciate the invite, and Congrats to all the nominees. 🏆

Episode 24 of Shoot Wisely with the incredible Mara O’Hara, tattoo artist, actor, model, and creative force at Bike Shed Moto Co tattoo Paint Shop. This conversation goes way beyond tattooing. We talked about the intimacy of sitting under the needle and what happens when two people spend hours in close proximity together, artist and subject, talking through life in real time. I asked Mara if there’s a common thread in the conversations people have while getting tattooed. Her answer was interesting: it almost always comes back to love. Wanting love. Losing love. Giving love. Trying to understand relationships. Trying to understand ourselves. There’s something about tattoos that opens people up. Maybe it’s the permanence. Maybe it’s the vulnerability. Maybe it’s the trust Link in bio for full episode. Artist @maraxohara Show @shootwisely_podcast Host @amirzing Location @bikeshedmotoco Tattoo footage @gp_r1m #tattoedgirl

Classic Porsches on film just hit different. Do you agree? Photographer Jonathan Harper’s first book is a curated selection of images featuring covered Porsches and in this clip from Episode 23 of the Shoot Wisely podcast, we talk about the trials and tribulations of editing a photography book. As someone who put together a book myself just six months ago, I completely understood the dilemma. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t taking the photo. It’s deciding what gets left out. In this clip from Episode 19 of the Shoot Wisely Podcast, I sit down with Los Angeles Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Ambassador Don Leonhardt and LA DGR Host Luke Barrto to talk about the origins of the DGR and my first experience at the DGR three years ago. The DGR experience is attributed to me picking up my film camera again. Which later lead to my project Canyon Peacocks. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is about much more than sharp suits and beautiful motorcycles. It’s a global movement raising awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer — reminding us that behind the style and machines are real conversations that matter. 🎙 Episode 19 of the Shoot Wisely Podcast DGR Founder @markhawwa DGR Global Ambassador @donleonhardt DGR LA Host @lukebarrmc Show @shootwisely_podcast Host @amirzing Link in bio for more Shoot Wisely Podcasts #DistinguishedGentlemansRide #DGR #MensMentalHealth #ProstateCancerAwareness #ShootWiselyPodcast MotorcycleCulture MentalHealthAwareness

What if we could record our dreams? Reo’s latest body of work, Dream Feed, explores that exact idea, a future where the subconscious isn’t lost when we wake, but captured, replayed, and experienced again. The visuals feel like fragments of memory… familiar, distorted, and just out of reach the way dreams have always lived inside us. Reo stands at the forefront of one of the biggest creative conversations happening right now: does “AI” need to come before the title “artist”? What makes his perspective so grounded is that his work didn’t begin with AI. Long before these tools existed, he spent over a decade building his craft through After Effects and Photoshop, developing a deep understanding of image-making, storytelling, and process. Now, he’s using AI the way it was always meant to be used, not as a shortcut, but as an extension. A tool to enhance ideas, push boundaries, and explore creative territory that simply wasn’t accessible before. Dreamfeed isn’t just about technology. It’s about imagination, memory, and the possibility of giving form to something we’ve never been able to hold onto. In this next conversation with Aidan de Cadenet and Lucas Dong I dive into something a bit different. While this podcast is never meant to be about the technical side, and usually focuses on emotion, ideas, and the creative process, I couldn’t help but ask how a specific shot was achieved. Sometimes, understanding the craft behind the magic adds another layer to the story. Link in bio for full conversation. One question I kept coming back to… Why let something so meaningful sit for 23 years? In my conversation with Aidan de Cadenet, I wondered if the moment the wheel came off changed everything, if the car carried a different weight after that. And if Aidan stepping in to bring it back wasn’t just about restoration… but something deeper between a father and son. One of my favorite parts about these conversations is going beyond what’s presented and getting closer to the story underneath. Grateful that people I respect trust me with that space.

I’ve been told before that loss is something you eventually find closure around. But losing my mother, my father, and my brother didn’t feel like something that ends. It felt like something that stays… and changes shape over time. So I asked Aidan de Cadenet, does creating something like The Alfa bring closure… or is that not really the point? Images from a special in-person episode of Shoot Wisely, (link in bio)I sit down with filmmaker Aidan de Cadenet and director Lukas Dong to talk about the making of their short documentary The Alfa. The conversation was recorded at Aidan’s home in Los Angeles, where the very car that inspired the film — a rare Alfa Romeo TZ — sat quietly in the garage just a few feet away. The setting created a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for a conversation between two filmmakers and longtime friends reflecting on the creative journey behind the project. Together we discuss the origins of The Alfa, how the collaboration between Aidan and Lukas came together, and the emotional story behind restoring one of the most meaningful cars owned by Aidan’s father, legendary racing driver Alain de Cadenet.
