I’ve spent way too long believing that if I arrived at a certain milestone, I’d feel good enough. I’d feel more secure and accomplished and whole. That all of the hard work was worth it and I’d finally proved myself. I wish that’s how it works but the goal post keeps moving and so do I. Lately I’ve been asking so what, who really cares?

JANUARY! From now on I will be sharing like a Facebook mum. I spent lots of time in nature at the start and now beginning to finish some songs for my second EP. I know everyone hates January but I love an excuse to get things done at a slower pace and actually I’m way more rested and excited about new music than I have been in a while. My ‘in’ for this year is to give you guys more context and not let my decision paralysis stop me from posting. So, slide 6 I bought this jumper (when I was obviously going through something) in H&M kids and recently saw a 4 year old wearing it. Luckily embarrassment this year is an out.I also would really LOVE to take your dog for a walk if you live in London please hmu.

“This project grew out of the emotional whiplash of finally getting what you thought you always wanted and realising it doesn’t quite fit. It’s about that strange moment of ‘arriving, only to find the place you worked so hard to reach doesn’t feel like home at all.”
