Sad Girls Sex Club are ready, @ollie_henderson and I will be taking the SGSC interstate. Some would say that playing in Melbourne is more significant than playing internationally. And for RUSSH's Music Editor, @AlysHale, one of the greatest combinations is fine whisky and even finer records. ⁠⁠We asked Hale to create the perfect pairings over a series exploring records old and new, and whiskies smokey and floral. May the pairings inspire you to sip and spin, and whilst you shouldn't finish the bottle in one go, you should definitely finish the record. Here in session one, Hale pairs @archierosedistillingco with #TomWaits because there are few musicians who she would rather share a nip with.

2025 was a big year for Team Cream. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients, assistants, moral support animals, collaborators and conspirators. I couldn’t have done it without you. @lapetitecremecreative has some musings on ins and outs for 2026, for which I apologise but I really can’t understand Labubus… As always these are to delight but never dictate. Sometimes when I’m not bumping in, I get to do what I love. Playing songs and performing amateur self effacing stand up. @sadgirlssexclub is my special place usually with my most special @ollie_henderson, however, Mr. @jackladder filled in with the bass six to keep it romantic. Thank you to my tropical @holidaysidewinder for keeping the SGSC support tradition alive. I will release the EP soon I promise, but I cannot promise I will change my boots. #depressedsexualandintellextual #sadgirlsexclub #postpunkpowerpop
