My Periodic Table of Minifigs, Joining in on #LEGOMicroCollection in May! with @tipsandbuilds I started collecting these a while ago, and its been hard fought to get all of them. I resorted to some fake Lego for the Transparent, Satin, and Mr. Gold. Everything else is Original lego, with some pieces having prints wiped off. I am missing a few hands, that haven't been made. Reposting as the first had issues with two of the images. Make May become Micro Collection Month!

Hoodwink for Bricklink Designer Program If you like this and want it to become a set, Vote on it in the Bricklink link in my bio! “Not impressed. Never was.” Built as a Mad Libs Challenge for Medieval hooded guy, Meet Hoodwink, the cowl-wearing connoisseur of complaints and unofficial champion of “back in my day.” Inspired by the classic Farmer’s Cowl and the unmistakable Wolfpack moustache, this brick-built character transforms familiar minifigure features into a delightfully oversized display piece. With his thick, slightly overcommitted moustache and snug, no-nonsense hood, Hoodwink looks like he’s seen everything—and disapproved of most of it. The layered construction captures the folds of the cowl while adding depth and texture, giving the model a sculpted, expressive presence from every angle. No one’s quite sure what Hoodwink actually does. Farmer? Maybe. Retired adventurer? Possibly. Professional mutterer? Almost certainly. What is clear is that he didn’t ask to be put on display… but he’ll tolerate it. Compact, characterful, and just the right amount of grumpy, Hoodwink makes a perfect addition to any LEGO display—especially one that could use a little more attitude. “Built different. Complains about it.” @Lego #Lego #LegoCommunity #AFOL #AFOLCommunity #LegoInstagram #legomoc #legostatue #legocastle #legocity #bdp #bricklinkdesignerprogram

May Build Challenge Build Round @bradyjoynerbricks encouraged me to do a breakdown of my build, Specifically highlighting the round parts, so I exploded Anger! It was a challenge to get the shoulder right to incorporate a swinging motion from the recent Barnes and Nobles Spring Bird build, so I needed 3 studs at least, and this led to the larger arms. After that I didn't want a square build, so figured out how to do his sides using some snot building, making sure to lock in the slopes on both ends as this will be in motion. I also had to figure out how to attach some eyebrows at an angle, that allowed for the big eyes! you'll notice the internals are not really specific, I've figured out how they work in various sub builds but it will probably need to change once I get the pieces together. It will fit an Arduino inside with a stepper motor, and some mounts I've designed with 3d printing to attach to technic bricks. Due to its internal shifting weight, the arms should move, The tie is on an axle that tilts, and the Fire is on rails that should slide back and forth as it rocks. Vote for this set to become reality in the Bricklink Designer program Series 11, Link in my Bio. The Circus Calliope and Bandwagon Based on Various calliope's I have seen over the years. I grew up in Peru, Indiana the Circus Capital of the world. Every year, starting in 1960, the town puts on a Circus with approximately 200 young people, ages 7 to 21, present 10 circus performances during an eight day festival in mid-July. On the concluding Saturday of the festival authentic circus wagons, clowns, calliopes, wild animals, floats, and bands make their way down the center streets of the town. This parade is the longest running circus parade in the country. Growing Up I was part of the Best Circus Band in All the Land, and always delighted in the multiple Calliopes' and Band Wagons' that were part of the Parade. This build is an attempt to recreate and evoke the look and feeling of a classic horse drawn wagons of old. #lego #BricklinkDesignerProgram #bricklink #legocommunity #legomoc #perucircus @perucircus

Gingerbread Cottage If you like this design, vote for it in the Bricklink Designer Program, Link in my Bio. At the edge of the Sugarwood Forest, Hansel and Gretel stumbled upon a gingerbread house glowing warmly beneath a lavender sky. The witch who lived there welcomed them with syrupy kindness, urging them inside, feeding them sugared treats and rich cocoa until their worries melted away. As they ate, she circled them slowly, whispering old candy spells under her breath. Hansel laughed as his hands grew heavy; Gretel gasped as her skin took on a dark, glossy sheen, smooth and sweet-smelling like fresh chocolate. They tried to run, but their legs stiffened, their voices fading as the magic finished its work. By dawn, the witch stood proudly outside her home, admiring two perfect chocolate statues placed beside the door—Hansel reaching forward, Gretel half-turned in fear. The house was quieter now, richer in color, and the witch smiled, already dreaming of who might wander out of the forest next. Play Features: - Fully accessible roof and removable Second floor, - Swing open back for accessing the Kitchen - A Jail for keeping Naughty Children - A skeleton hidden under the floorboards - Two fireplaces - A Candy Tree @Lego #Lego #LegoCommunity #AFOL #AFOLCommunity #LegoInstagram #legomoc #legostatue #legocastle #legocity #bdp #bricklinkdesignerprogram

May Build Challenge Build Round I had the idea of making an actually Rocking plant with the release of the Lego Tiliting plant sets, I wanted to motorize it, and thought red would work for one that is rocking mad. After toyingw ith that, I thought the perfect character for this would be Anger for inside out. Using a worm gear and a shifting weight to do the rocking. Getting the Shoulders Round, and the body round was important, as well as getting the eyebrows at a specific angle. The hardest part as the eyes, I tried a few combinations of things until a Dish and a Inverted dome came together perfectly. In addition to the internal shifting weight, the arms should move, The tie is on an axle that tilts, and the Fire is on rails that should slide back and forth as it rocks. April Build Challenge Build a scene featuring a minilander doing an activity! I had fun coming up with a Gingerbread Minilander King and Queen, I have to wait on parts from the Orange cat to become available for my queen, however in the meantime I was able to build the king with parts from my collection. In addition this month I've been working on a display for Brickworld Chicago, and I thought it would be fun to show the King reading a book under a tree, while a small witch peaks in on him. "Sufferin' succotash!" This is a Recolor of the Dalmatian Puppy (43269) into the mischievous Sylvester the Cat. I thought Tweety needed a Companion, and went through with figuring out how to make it happen. I used a heatgun to straighten out the whips to make the whiskers, and in the process, melted one, which is one of those happy accidents as it works great for the lower whiskers. I'll be bringing this to Brickworld Chicago for all to see! #@Lego #Lego #LegoCommunity #AFOL #AFOLCommunity #LegoInstagram #brickworld #brickworldevents #lego #legoevent #brickworldchicago #afol #sylvesterthecat #looneytunes #legocat
