The third live act for the upcoming event on May 22 at @sodas2123 ~ @estafete2123 will be performed by Allosci @alloscillating , a beautiful project by @griciutegabriele and @andrius.mack ☾⋆.* Allosci is a creative duo by Gabrielė Griciūtė and Andrius Mackevičius from Lithuania. Their practice combines environmental sound, experimental electronics, and narrative structures, with a focus on the physicality of sound and vibration, deep listening, and the interplay between techno and sound art. Positioned between a listening experience and a club-oriented performance, Allosci’s live sets seek to bridge physical, dance-based engagement with analytical and reflective modes of listening. Recently they released their debut album, ‘Alloscillating.’ You can listen to it on bandcamp!

We’ve been distracted by bears for a while! 🐻 And that distraction became a 10-minute radio piece, which we are happy to share in both the original Lithuanian version and an English-subtitled one (links in our bios). Its creation happened during a particularly beautiful late summer and autumn in Lithuania, over which we spoke with naturalists, biologists, journalists, mushroom pickers, hunters, friends, and passers-by. The piece is a collage of their thoughts and responses to our questions about bears, fears, ethics, sound and everything in between. This work was created as part of LRT’s radio academy. We are deeply grateful to LRT, especially the radio documentary team and our mentor Inga Janiulytė-Temporin. And to everyone we met along the way and who agreed to chat with us. We learned so much during this process, met so many inspiring people, made new friends and fell in love with the radio documentary genre. A new idea is already in our minds and growing! If you’re interested to learn more about the concept behind the piece do check out the description in the youtube video (English) and LRT radio archive website (Lithuanian) While looking for bears we recorded many soundscapes in Lithuania, in nature and in urban areas. For this instagram post we wanted to share some of them. During this process it became apparent that it wouldn’t matter how deep we went into the forest, capturing a human-less recording was incredibly hard - anthrophonic sounds were always present in some shape or form. More info on each soundscape in the comments. #radiodocumentary #audiodocumentary #fieldrecording #soundscapes #soundart

SPİN FOAM coded friction, digi midi-eval architecture, vibro-alchemy 21 Nov @retrito.smarsas @sofizaiceva + @andreastrobollowitsch (sound objects/live coding) @gintaskr (live electronics/noise) @alloscillating (live electronics/vox/field/dance) Door 19:30 entrance donation 10-15eu poster by @000kamile Sofia's and Andreas's "Branches & Bytes" explores contrasting sonic approaches: digital sound programming meets mechanical, analog friction. Zaiceva shapes sound through code, spatialization, and algorithmic structures, while Trobollowitsch creates raw, physical textures using branches and rotating wooden discs. Together, they forge a hybrid sonic field where contrasts collide, intertwine, and dissolve into unexpected resonances. Gintas K will perform a live electronic piece, “Merzmania,” featuring the motif of the Lithuanian folk song “Teka, teka šviesi saulė”. Using Plogue Bidule, self-derived software, MIDI controllers, and VST plugins, every sound is shaped live in real time. The piece blends classical musical skills with the energy of contemporary noise, turning the computer into a fully expressive instrument. Allosci is an electronic music duo of Gabrielė Griciūtė and Andrius Mackevičius [LT]. The duo finds inspiration in psychoacoustic effects, field recordings, and low frequency drones. These elements are intertwined with embodied rhythmic patterns and distant vocal fragments. The duo is fascinated by the unifying phenomenon of vibration, which in their performances begins with sound and gradually resonates through the body, the environment, and the mind.
