29 years ago today @sara_mb & I drove through a snowstorm during spring break to travel north of the wall to @sunypotsdam for a hardcore show @jpal32 put on. Most of the bands on this flier did not play. But it was a pretty monumental day since I met @ggfullan @philipmumbles & @eddiesundaytbs for the very first time. @clockwise_lihc did play, despite not being listed. And the rest, as they say, is history… 🚙❄️☃️

Today in the anniversary series of records turning 25, 'Archetype' by All Else Failed. Originally released in June of 2001, this album produced by Ben Weinman had a lot of the craziness of Dillinger Escape plan, and a live show that was insane. The songs are almost like an emotional psychotic break. Seeing them live was a powerful experience, and if you've never seen them live make sure you do the next time they play. Great songs off of this include "Route 1", "did you think of me?", "the emisis basin" "choker" and so much more
