As you enjoy this unforgettable vibe between the
@orquestadecateura from Paraguay and the keiki of
@kawaihonapcs :
🎸Can you guess what recycled materials these instruments are made from?
🎸As our friends at
@kokuahawaiifoudnation shared, “This amazing group from Paraguay turns everyday trash into beautiful music. Their story of resilience, creativity, and sustainability will inspire all ages.” We couldnʻt agree more! Head to their page to learn more or support.
🎸
@mana_maoli was honored to host a kanipila with our guests, and to tag team with Ka Waihona o ka Naʻauao in hosting the school visit highlighted here. In these videos, the youth and young adults of the Recycled Orchestra lead a 100+ keiki dance train, and they share impressive solos and interesting backstories of their instruments - double bass, saxophone and flute. Drums, violin and guitar are up next!
