Today is World Water Day 🌏 From frozen glaciers to rolling waves, all water is connected- flowing through rivers, lakes, and oceans in a cycle that sustains us all. Celebrating 15 years of the Youth Ocean Conservation Summit! This weekend, we united over 100 young ocean advocates and community mentors at @MoteMarineLab Science Education Aquarium for an unforgettable day of learning, leadership, and action. From hands-on workshops and inspiring speakers to project planning and peer collaboration, YOCS continues to empower the next generation of ocean leaders. We’re incredibly proud of this community - and grateful to our participants, speakers, volunteers, partners, and sponsors who have brought this program to life over the past 15 years. As Co-Founders of KHF, Kim & Jack Johnson are helping launch the 2025 Kōkua Learning FarmRAISER, supporting food education, school gardens, and farm-based learning across Hawaiʻi and beyond. The FarmRAISER is part of a larger effort to inspire communities everywhere to deepen their connection to the land and grow a healthier planet for all. Their story of resilience, creativity, and sustainability will inspire all ages.” We couldnʻt agree more! In these videos, the youth and young adults of the Recycled Orchestra lead a 100+ keiki dance train, and they share impressive solos and interesting backstories of their instruments - double bass, saxophone and flute. Jack and our local community are still smiling from the joy and inspiration the @orquestadecateura from Paraguay brought to Oʻahu! Their music, spirit, and culture have left a lasting impact on us all. Thank you, to their director Favio Chávez for bringing the orchestra to our home! A big mahalo to Kilin Reece, who lovingly repaired their bass with wood from the @kokualearningfarm —now, as the orchestra continues their journey, it carries a piece of Hawai’i with it. Thank you to @honolulutheatreforyouth @hiyouthsymphony , @mana_maoli , @pacific_strings , @kokuahawaiifoundation , and @seeqshi for welcoming Cateura with open arms and hosting experiences that made their visit so meaningful.

Wishing our good friends and longtime partners, @surfrider , a very happy 40th anniversary! Surfrider was one of the first groups that @jackjohnson brought on tour to engage with communities, inspiring the early vision for All At Once.
