Turin Brakes’ album ‘Lost Property’ - released in 2016.
Recorded over two weeks of long days and nights in the Coach House at Rockfield Studios, and mixed in The Bunker at Real World Studios. We had some good times making this record.

One week on and feels like a good time to reflect on the last couple of months with Alex Warren, the band and crew.
I loved every minute of being in tour with this group of wonderful and talented humans.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my former manager and friend Barbara Jeffries last month.
Today at her memorial service her family and many friends celebrated her incredible life. So lovely to see so many people come together and remember her.
Barbara was a true force in the music industry. As Managing Director of the Virgin Studios Group, she oversaw world-class facilities The Manor, The Townhouse and Olympic Studios, so many landmark albums were made there.
I was privileged to be represented by her at The Smoothside Organisation, where she championed and managed an extraordinary roster of producers, engineers, and mixers helping shape the sound of countless records.
She had a rare gift for combining her business acumen with genuine care for the people she represented. She believed in me, opened many doors, and guided me through some of the most important stages of my career.
Barbara’s influence went beyond the professional. She was a mentor, a source of wisdom, and someone who always encouraged me to grow both professionally and personally. I will forever be grateful for her belief and the opportunities she created.
Barbara leaves behind an incredible legacy, not just in the music she helped bring into the world, but in the many lives and careers she touched along the way.
Thank you, Barbara. You will be remembered with respect, love, and gratitude.

I encourage you all to watch this documentary, commissioned originally by @bbc , they shamefully pulled out of broadcasting it, so much for reporting without fear or favour.
@channel4 is showing it.
This documentary lays bear Israel’s horrific near 2 year campaign on the Gazan people and medics in particular.
Every action is intentional and premeditated.
The silence of our @uklabour government is beyond belief. @10downingstreet has blood 🩸 on their hands, I will never forgive Starmer and co for their inaction in the face of Israeli crimes.

Shooting the breeze! ⛰️✨
Had a lovely chat with @alistaton for Ransom Note at @severn_songs HQ recently, Ali mixed & co-produced Rituals with me & played a massive part in the making of the album. It was really fun to expand on some of the conversations we’d had during the recording process for this.
Making records with people is a deeply personal & intimate experience & you get to know each other pretty quickly so it was a real pleasure to meet up and chew the fat once more!

We started the week with a note from our distributor saying Rituals had a chance of entering the charts this week, something none of us had even considered let alone dreamt of and we’ve since been completely blown away by your love and support. It’s been a real pleasure to meet so many of you on the road these last few days and to see our friends, fans & family rally round to help out has been incredible, we’re truly grateful to each and every one of you! Putting out music yourself is hard work, so to see this kind of support has filled us with energy and gratitude for the future. Again thank you!
