Five years ago, we initiated our work on "Portals," laying the foundation for our journey into immersive content. What an extraordinary start it was at the incomparable @atelierdeslumieres !
Wilton Park Living Canvas; Two Hundred Artists in Two years
The iconic curved screen installation we created at @wilton_park_dublin will be on a brief hiatus starting this week. We’re very proud to be part of this fantastic Public Art project, which has given a platform to so many established and up & coming artists over the last two years.
A massive thank you to everyone involved in the project and to Iput for giving us this amazing opportunity.
We look forward to bringing more art to the public sphere through our Orbit Technology over the coming months and are looking forward to seeing the next iteration of the Living Canvas project.
AVA 2023! What a pleasure it was to do visuals on the main stage of this years’ edition of one of our favourite Irish festivals. The level of production and the lineup were phenomenal, it was a dream to be back on the Slipways in the June sun.
➡️ BTS with our team who kept it lit for two days & some of the visuals created in house by @dillon0s and @jankscorpio
Cheers to the @avafestival gang, Sarah & Dave and Hype Factory for the edit.
Deep Atlantic was just featured on Nationwide!
This Spring we celebrate the launch of our new immersive experience created in collaboration with @dingleaquarium Set in the locality of Kerry coast - It follows a humpback whale through various depths of the ocean close by, interacting with native Flora and Fauna along the way.
This piece sets out to be further context for the aquarium as a whole, creating an experience that would never be seen by the naked eye. The Deep sea bioluminescence demonstrates nature’s greatest light show hundreds of metres below the surface.
We can’t wait to show you what’s in store!
Deep Atlantic Premieres tomorrow!
On Saturday 25th of March Dingle Animation Festival passholders will get a special preview of Deep Atlantic; our newest immersive experience created for Dingle Ocean World. The experience that showcases the rich diversity of life in the seas around Ireland’s coast, following the journey of a humpback whale as it travels through the depths of the Atlantic waters at the Porcupine Ridge off the coast of Kerryand into the abyss.
The experience will be on show from 17:30 to 19:30 on Saturday 25th of March
Let us know if you get a chance to see it, the experience will be open to the Public very soon!
From urban spaces to open water.
Another physical installation we went live with was a set of massive light projections at the River Boyne. You can stand on the banks of the River and get lost in the wonder of old Irish mythology.
The pieces was inspired by the local area’s rich history; two installations on and near the river
Both draw on mythological themes of Boann, the goddess of the river, alongside symbolism of hazelnut trees and the Salmon of knowledge.
Massive thanks due to the team that worked day and night to make this a reality, it was a feat of production that can’t be overstated. Melding technology on moving currents is no small task (not to mention in minus temperatures!)
A must see if you’re in the area, and will be running through the new year!
