On Monday, September 8, I invite you to join our story. “Rite of Passage” is a film about mental health, motherhood, and identity. How we become strangers to ourselves when upholding the expectations of others. Director of Photography, @alexischinerydp and Producer @tonyasays brought their own unique lens and perspective to produce this fundraiser video and the three of us are coming full circle to produce the film. We’ve secured 75% of the total budget and raising the last bit so our audience can see it premiered in Ghana and beyond. This fundraiser video gives you a glimpse of what we’re doing and how we plan on doing it (link in bio for our @seedandspark page). When you hold onto something for a long time, it feels daunting to put it out into the world. Special thanks to Art Director @janaynachel who has developed our direction and soon, the film poster.
