Beautiful location & fantastic customer service. Food selection could have been better and overall the food was average.
Looked back over a trip to New Mexico this week. I reviewed plenty of best things to do lists to prepare for the stay. I’ll be back for the 3 parks I didn’t make it to & some of the lesser known but equally beautiful & vibrant cities.

Almost threw all of my Portland stuff in with this post, but that’s unfair to them. I wasn’t there long enough to feel like the city deserves a post of its own on my IG, but my next visit might be the one.
Durand Jones & The Indications are performing in DC tonight & I forgot. To make me feel a bit better, because I have been at a past show, I went through my videos for pieces of the last show of theirs that I attended. After scrolling back and forth one too many times, I came to the realization that they were gone. I must’ve deleted them after throwing snippets together 🤷🏾♀️. I’m guessing that’s what I intended to share at the time? I have no idea what that particular version of myself was thinking but it’s cool. I was completely in the moment for my favorite songs, so none of those were briefly recorded anyway. Anywho, since I failed to follow through w/ sharing back in September of 2021 😂 they are hitting my grid now. Coming to a city near you.

I was so wrapped up in my thoughts about neighborhoods, art, HBCUs, Black life, Spike, and his folks (especially Mrs. Zimmie Shelton) that I simply never got around to sharing anything except what was seen in my stories of the exhibit.
