i wanted to paint what happiness looks like and this is it. i was sick and unable to do anything so as soon as i felt better i had the urge to paint something joyful. being with merlin in a garden is my happy place 🐈
it was hard to choose which one i’d want to feature for today’s #repostyourart (mountain), but i thought it would be nice to share again the last piece from my 365-day challenge :-)
some of you have been here since then, but for those who might not know: i started this account with the challenge of painting or drawing every day to learn and track my progress over the year. i didn’t have any experience, so everything was new, exciting, scary but also fun! (everything still feels like that actually). this piece is the one i painted on the last day, and i still love it very much.
