“We All Are In The Same Boat” (2024) 🧸💖⛵️🪼🪴🏀🎒🩺💐🎣 Excited to share my latest mural for the @artsbuildcommunity festival at the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester, NH! This is my largest mural to date and a true community co-creation. I held two workshops with the @bgcofmanchester kids — one via Zoom and one in person—asking them, “If you had to go on a journey with your friends, what would you bring?”  Their imaginative drawings provided 90% of the mural’s elements. The remaining 10% came throughout the mural execution, with intentional or unintentional inputs from amazing local artists, volunteers, and Boys & Girls Club staff. Every detail in this mural, from characters to objects, reflects the community’s diversity. The message? Despite our differences, WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT. Respect and unity make this journey called life better for everyone. Stay tuned for more details about the mural and the process in the next few days. I am thrilled to show you "Voyagers", the mural I've recently painted for @powwowworcester 2021. This mural is located at the Jacob Hiatt Magnet School, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Since I learned my wall would be in a school, I wanted to paint a whimsical imagery to convey bravery, curiosity, unity, and the eagerness for adventure and exploration always present in children's imagination. It was an honor to paint a mural for such an amazing community, that showed a massive amount of love and appreciation throughout the days of the festival! Also all my love for the @powwowworcester family! From committee members, artists, volunteers, and the photo & video crew, who nailed it capturing amazing process shots of the artists and their different creative processes.
